2009 Tree Shaker Tifosi

TreeShakerTifosi from Billy Fehr on Vimeo.

Today all I have is this video post filmed/edited by and starring me heckling a long list of local cycling legends hanging it out in the name of the 2009 Tree Shaker 6 & 12 Hour Mountain Bike Race Classic. That catalogue includes in no particular order Chris Baker, Cathi Mowery(was I really so scary that you had to scream?), Ross Dowswell and Hoffen's own Brandon Caskey and the Ghost of Jerry Reed. Of course there are many more of you that fell victim to my shenanigans but I do not know all of your names. If you see yourself being cheered on by me in this clip please feel free to leave a comment and identify yourself. If you would rather leave yourself anonymous and pretend like you never saw me on that open dirt/gravel sand road I completely understand.

While at the Tree Shaker this year I shot mainly moving imagery but I did make some pictures as well. To the guy wearing the latest trend in cycling apparel, the below knee calf warmers(prerequisite Black) and the fellow who had his GPS Unit mounted to the cockpit of his race bike, have no worries I did not take either of your pictures. However to those of you that I did manage to capture in place and time you my have some regrets when you see yourself on the morrow, for that I apologize.

Thanks for the invitation, I had more fun heckling this event than I ever remember having actually riding in it. Okay, maybe that one time Becks and I rode the race Duo SS when it was at Renaissance up until my rigid fork exploded was more fun than heckling. To heckle or not to Heckle, the answer is plain.

ok... now i have to go over to the tarheel trail blazers website to see how many comments were made about a guy with a cowbell and a whistle heckling the riders during the race! ;) looked like you got quite the workout in with all that running back and forth Billy!

oompa-loompa-tastic!

You remind me of that muppet that does the "near" "far" stuff on Seseme street.

Grover I think. But you'd be more Super Grover than just Grover.

Damn Billy, that was an awesome video!! Well, there were a couple of Hoffenchards in the vid. Dwight Yoakam, was somewhere in the middle and it looks like you got the ghost of Jerry Reed mashing the pedals there at the very end. Great job and thanks for the support!!
